Inch Dry
How to style my curly, thick, frizzy hair?
I have very, very, very thick hair that dries frizzy and partially curly- the top about 4 inches dry curly and the rest dries relatively straight. It falls about 3 inches below my shoulders, has no layers, and is brown-blond. Also, the bottom layers alone dry completely curly, and when fully dry, it is very frizzy.
The only solution I have found is straightening my hair, which takes 2 1/2 to 3 long, painful hours. And my mother is a hairdresser, so we’ve kind of run out of options….
ANYTHING is appreciated. Product suggestions (I have access to pretty much every type of product, just need to know what works.), styling help, anything…..
but seriously, i need help D:
I have curly hair too and I have found that if your hair is like mine it drys fizzy and mostly curly. But sometimes it goes flat. What I like to do is right out of the shower, I use a wide tooth comb to get out tangles (I have heard that curly hair is best when you use a wide tooth comb instead of a brush) and then add product that reduces frizz or intensifies curls and then french braid your hair. A messy braid is fine it all works the same. I leave the braid in overnight and in the morning it may still be damp but it most of the time comes out looking great!
Hope this helps!!
