Does the back case part of an wall mounted airconditioner usually/normally gets hot?
I meant the part of the case near the radiator. The top are and sides of the case near the radiator is hot. Is it normal? I mean its near the radiator I understand but does the back case normally gets hot?
Yes!
The condenser side of wall mounted air conditioner is in the back.
During the operation, front side goes cold and back side goes cold (just like inside and backside of a refrigerator).
In the condenser usually one side is inlet of Freon (for example top side) and the other side is outlet. It means one side is hotter than the other.
But if the temperature is very high (that may cause paint loosing) you should ask one specialist to check your equipment.
